DeSales Flats is an urban development containing nearly 100 residential apartment units.  The site and building was designed with sustainably in mind and the project has been LEED Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council.

 

Meisner + Associates / Land Vision created a landscape design for the development.  The design incorporated drought tolerant plants that would screen site utilities, buffer neighboring properties and survive the urban environment.

 

The planting improvements exceed landscape requirements providing year round interest, and softens the edges of the new housing and surrounding urban environment.
