Location: Wyoming, Ohio

Size: 18 acres

Wyoming has a unique physical setting and history.  The City of Wyoming is located just north of Cincinnati and was founded in 1874.  The Promenade business district located along Springfield Pike, in the heart of Wyoming.

 

The Mayor and City Council initiated a Promenade Task Force in September of 2009 to create detailed vision plans for the Promenade area.  This Task Force was directed to advance the 2007 Master Plan recommendations for the Promenade District and consider creative options to its future.

 

Task Force members included individuals with a variety of backgrounds and interests in the local real estate market, planning and design, business, law, historic preservation and education.  It also included “local residents” to provide input on behalf of neighbors.

 

Meisner + Associates / Land Vision facilitated Task Force meetings and helped to determine the criteria that final concepts would be drawn upon.  The final product of the Task Force meetings were the following vision plan sketches that were presented to the Mayor and City Council.
